51. The provisions of sections 17, 18, and 19 of Ordinance 7 of 1860 shall apply to the recovery of any fine hoposed upon the keeper of any registered brothel.
52. Nothing in this Ordinance shall, as regards unregis- tered brothels, affect any other remedies applicable by the laws in force in the Colony for the time being for the sup- pression thereof.
53. All fines imposed and levied for offences against this Ordinance, and all feos and payments collected under the provisions thereof shall be appropriated to the forma- tion of a general fund for the purposes of this Ordinance.
54. The Registrar General may from time to time make, alter, and revoke regulations for any of the following purposes--ww
Ist. For sceneing the observance of sanitary conditions
in rogistered brothels.
2nd. For fixing the sums to be paid to the Registrar
General by keepers of registered brothels. The Inspector of Hospitals may from time to time make, alter and revoke regulations for any of the following purposes:→→
Ist. For regulating the times and places and conduct of medical examination under this Ordinance. 2nd. For the control and management of women anthorized to be detained in hospital muder this Ordinance, and for making the scale of charges in respect of the treatment of such women.

All regulations and all alterations and revocations made nder this section shall be subject to the approval of the Governor in Council, and when approved shall take effect seven days after the publication thereof in the Gazette, and a copy of the Gazette containing such publication shall be conclusive evidence of such regulations. Copies of all regulations and all alterations thereof made under this Ordinance shall be sent to the Registrar Gonoral, the Cap- tain Superintendent of Police, the Inspector of Hospitals and all visiting Surgeons.
55. The Governor shall from time to time appoint the place in which the Registrar General shall sit in discharge of his duties, and no proceeding under this Ordinance before the Registrar General shall be publie unless the person affected by such proceeding so desires.
56. The hearing, either in the first instance or upon appeal of any matter arising under this Ordinance, may he ju privato unless the person affected desires publicity.
No proceedings under this Ordinance shall be comuneneed before a Magistrate except at the instance of or with tho sanction of the Attorney General or the Registrar General,
57. The forms in the Schedule to this Ordinance, or forms to the like effect with such variations and additions as eircumstances require, may be used for the purposes therein iudicated and according the directions therein con- tained, and instruments in those forms shall (as regards the form thereof) be valid and sufficient.
58. In any proceeding under this Ordinance every notice, order, certificate, copy of regulations, or other instrument shall be presumed to have been duly signed by the person and in the character by whom and in which it purports to be signed until the contrary is shown,
Every notice, order, or other instrument by this Ordi- nance required to be served on a woman shall be served by delivery thereof to some person for her at her usual place of abode or by delivery theroof to her personally.

59. Any action, plaint or prosecution against any person for anything done in pursuance or excention, or intended execution of this Ordinance, or of any regulations or byc-laws made in pursuance thereof, shall be commenced within three months after the thing done and not otherwise.
